Q. How do I learn ventriloquism?
A. Ventriloquism, like any kind of magic, is an illusion that takes a lot of practice. ALL of our puppets and figures include the basic instructions regarding seven steps in learning to practice this skill. The steps include the all important "vent alphabet" and sound substitutions for B F M P V W and Y. (Substitute with D Th N T Th L respectively.) The seven steps also explains the relaxed position of the mouth closed with lips slightly parted, and teeth just touching top to bottom. One of our learning tools is the Mayer 30 lesson course of ventriloquism. It is the number 1 way to learn to throw your voice without moving your lips.
Q. Can I buy material for performing skits?
A. We are currently working on script purchases. Coming VERY soon! Purchases of
specific figures with dialoge books!
Q. How do I get a unique ventriloquist figure of my own.
A. Please check our links page. We are in contact with several of the most awesome artists on the planet. I really enjoy the Robert McRay "Bigheads." You can't get any more
unique figures than his awesome friends!
Q. How long will it take for my figure to arrive, once I have paid for it?
A. Our most popular puppets are dropshipped directly to you within the United States within a week. Our wonderful celebrity ventriloquist figures must be crafted to your specifications and require workmanship. These may take up to 14 days. We would be able to give you a better estimate on arrival and international orders at the time you order. Q. How will products be shipped?
A. Our cloth puppets are typically shipped through the post office USPS, as their rates are so much better for light weight items. Our customers may request a different carrier and
choose to pay the higher rate.
Q. Is my credit card information safe and secure when ordering?
A. YES! We have a completely secure merchant account system that automatically checks
your credit card and deposits the money into our bank account without anyone ever seeing
your credit card number or confidential information. We also accept Paypal.
Q. Does ThrowVoicePuppets.com have a return policy?
A. Absolutely! We offer a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. The merchandise must
be returned within 10 days of your receiving the item. Please check the merchandise
immediately and contact us right away if there are any concerns.
